Abstract

In the presented work is processed issue of municipal waste with a focus on waste managment in the city Teplice. The first section gives the basic concepts that relate to waste and municipal waste characteristics. The subsequent part deals with legislation related to waste and obligations of the municipality as the producer. The next part describes the process of colecting the waste transportation and disposal. In other parts are introduced the main objectives of waste management and waste management analysis of the city Teplice. The folowing part is the address list of landfills, compost factories and collection yards in the district of Teplice and their description. In the last part is processed question of community control activities. Finally, the work included an assessment of the importance of the issue of municipal waste and the town of Teplice position in this matter.
