Abstract

The objective of this bachelor's thesis is the design and structural analysis of the main load-bearing structure of an observation tower located near the flooded quarry at Janičův vrch in Mikulov. The thesis includes the structural calculation of the primary load-bearing elements, including their foundations, the design and assessment of key details and connections, and the corresponding drawing documentation. The structural system, with a total height of 11.88 m, consists of an assembly of main chords, posts, diagonals, and bracing. The structure is conceived as a cantilevered staircase with sheet metal cladding. For assembly purposes, the construction is divided into several logical units.
