Abstract

The object of this diploma thesis is an experimental achieving of electric strength values – solid insulating materials. The theoretical part describes solid insulating materials puncture issue, its basic terms, characteristics and division. Next I describe basic tests of solid insulating materials electric strength, which are realized according to actual standards. The practical part describes work station disposition, measuring instruments and temperature dependence of measured cable CYKY samples electric strength. The last part of thesis deals with analyze of electric field, using Finite Element Method in ANSYS program, its intensity and electric field potential.
