Abstract
This dissertation is focused on the problematic of making the process of securing input material for production and managing it by the company information system more effective. Presently the information system provides incorrect information to the purchasing department. It is needed to make an analysis of the causes and suggest necessary corrective actions. The issue is a suggestion of a solution in the environment of HOBES, spol. s r.o.
