Abstract

The work focuses on the overall design of industrial electrical installations. The introduction briefly describes the history, mentioning the inventions and the periods when they were invented. Since the work addresses the issue of industrial installations, it defines terms and concepts related to this topic. Transformers, electrical networks, electric motors, and other technical devices used in industry are mentioned. It also highlights their mutual cooperation and utilization. One of the important elements is legislation, which the work will reference throughout. It explains electrical engineering standards and their practical applications. Protective devices and their correct use are also described. The core of the work is the design of a specific industrial electrical installation. It will propose the supply lines to a new technological distribution board. Calculations will determine the individual devices that meet the parameters for use in the given installation, which will be briefly described. The work will include the technological procedure and will describe the proposed solution. At the end, the expected materials used and the budget will be presented.
