Abstract

This thesis deals with the noise and the noise generators. The aim of this thesis is to design and practically implement white noise generator to 100 kHz. On this basis, I focused on the implementation of a noise generator with a light bulb, which plays a role of a noise source, specifically the hot filament. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explains terms which are related to the characteristics of the noise. Distribution of noise depending on the spectrum and physical nature. How different noises originate and where they can be used. Also, an overview of the most common noise components and their use in noisy generators. Subsequently is explained noise figure, calculation of noise figure and a possible way of measuring noise figure. The practical part contains a design of noise generator, his involvement and subsequent measurement of noise generated by the results recorded in the charts.
