Abstract
This thesis deals with the identification of the origin of magnetic particles in the immissions. Contamination of soil by a solid fall, which is largely anthropogenic in origin and contains a number of strongly ferromagnetic particles, is a significant environmental problem. Samples of forest soils were taken for the identification of sources of pollution and examined in a selected part of the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy. Chemical analysis of the snow from the Třinec region and analysis of dusts from certain Třinecké železárny plants were carried out. Then all the samples taken in the area were measured by using a magnetic susceptibility. These values were compared with all the measured values in Beskydy Mountains. Magnetic separation of soil samples was performed, after which the concentrations of individual elements were determined. Subsequently a microanalysis of the magnetic parts were carried out and magnetic particles character was determined.
