Abstract

Bachelor thesis is focused on safety of volunteer firefighters during chainsaw operations and its related activities. The goal is to determine right safety instructions for the correct chainsaw operation and handling including its spot-checks and maintenance. Teoretical part contains informations about fire protection and other requirements for chainsaw usage. Practical part compares the manufacturer instructions for operator with the real conditions at targeted volunteer firefigthting. As a final step, there are created recomendations for this specific volunteer firefighting and operational instruction for felling for trees.
