Abstract
The topic of this bachelor’s thesis is Evaluation of the Employee Motivation System in a Selected Organization. The aim is to assess the current state of employee motivation in an IT company and, based on the findings, propose recommendations for improving the existing motivation system. The thesis focuses on the analysis of factors influencing employee motivation, including both intrinsic and extrinsic factors, as well as the specifics of motivation across different employee generations. The theoretical part discusses various motivation theories, motivational factors, and generational differences that influence work attitudes. The practical part analyzes a specific company using methods such as a questionnaire survey, semi-structured interviews, internal document analysis, and also employs synthesis, induction, and deduction methods. Based on the findings, specific measures were proposed, including regular increases in financial compensation, support for meaningful work, improved communication, verbal recognition and other forms of appreciation, and enhancement of work-life balance.
