Abstract

This thesis deals with the study of appropriate conditions biosorption of hexavalent chromium from aqueous matrix using an inactivated fetal orange peel right (Citrus chinensis), as a potential sorbent. In general, the theoretical part of the thesis describes the environmental burden hexavalent chromium. There are also described decontamination techniques, principles, methods, factors affecting biosorption and description of the selected sorbent. The practical part is then described the preparation of sorbent and its own research. Applicability selected biosorbents was verified by determining its sorption capacity depending on pH and particle size distribution. Analysis of samples was performed molecular spectrophotometric method with 1.5 Diphenylcarbazide.
