Abstract
The Bachelor thesis provides an analysis and calculation of a load of saddle roofs from the effects of wind. The Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics of the Czech Academy of Sciences provided data from the experimental measuring of two physical models of saddle roofs. In order to define the external pressure factor on roofs of buildings, the found data were processed and evaluated. The results were compared with the valid norm figures. A simple algorithm, which aims to depict the calculated figures of the factor along the roof surface, was created with the assistance of the MATLAB software. I became familiar with the numerical solution of this topic and designed it with the assistance of the RFEM and RWIND Simulation softwares.
