Abstract

This Bachelor thesis deals with the problem of “human resources” and the problem of “human resources management”. It focuses mainly on the questions of gaining and choosing employees. The aim of this work is to inform and give information about the possible processes in the field of gaining and choosing employees. The theoretic part deals with the general way outs with the wide range of methods and techniques that can be used within human resources management. These methods and techniques are deeply analyzed concerning their strengths and weaknesses. The main focus within the theoretic part is given on method of choosing employees with the help of Assessment centre. The part of this characteristic is defining this method, the way of using it and the definition of the basic names and phrases. The practical part includes the characteristic of concrete organization, Regional Prosecutor´s Office in Ostrava. This part consists of information about the administrative system/structure of this organization as well as about the groups of employees together with the description of entrance examination and the analysis of present state. Furthermore there is also a comparison of figures from the previous years and the figures of the present days with the focus on future plans. One part of this work also includes the information about the history of prosecutor. The end of my work deals with the method of selective procedure on the higher working position concerning the employees of the administration with the help of the methods and techniques of Assessment centre and it also takes into consideration the most effective result.
