Abstract

The topic of this thesis are the ways of resolving the bankruptcy of a company, including its early recognition using financial analysis with an emphasis on bankruptcy models. The theoretical part characterizes the methods of resolving bankruptcy with a focus on reorganization and filing of an insolvency petition and its requirements, including responsibility for its failure to file. In addition, methods for predicting the bankruptcy of a company are analyzed, along with measures that can help the company avoid bankruptcy. In the practical application of the thesis, the bankruptcy of a particular company is analyzed in terms of the course of insolvency proceedings and, based on their accounting data, methods of predicting the bankruptcy of the company are applied.
