Abstract
This thesis is focused on the 3xxx series of aluminium alloys and their behavior during fatigue process. Introduces a relation between structural, fatigue and fracture characteristics and describes their properties. Attention is also given to processing and use such of a material not only in automotive industry. Experimental part of the work deals with a specific alloy AA3103 H12 using metallographic studies, fractographic analysis and by measurement of microhardness.
