Posouzení možností jazyka Styled Layer Descriptor v prostředí nástroje GeoServer

Abstract

V předložené práci jsou zpracovány možnosti nástroje GeoServer využít jazyk Styled Layer Descriptor (SLD). Práce se z velké části věnuje samotné syntaxi a popisu jazyka SLD. Pro tuto práci bylo vybráno několik kartografických zobrazovacích metod, které jsou realizovatelné právě pomocí tohoto jazyka. Jedná se o metodu figurálních znaků, čárových znaků, areálovou metodu a metodu kartogramu a kartodiagramu. Pro všechny tyto metody byly vytvořeny SLD styly. Tyto styly spolu s daty byly nahrány na mapový server GeoServer a byly publikovány formou WMS s využitím technologie OpenLayers. Následně jsou v této bakalářské práci zdokumentovány chyby a nedostatky nástroje GeoServer při publikování dat.

The aim of this thesis is assessment possibilities of GeoServer to use Styled Layer Descriptor (SLD). The thesis is largely about description and about syntax of SLD language. Several cartographic methods were selected for this thesis. These methods were made by using SLD language. These methods were chosen: method of figural characters line characters, areal method and method of cartodiagrams and cartogram.Styles were made for all this methods. These methods and styles were uploaded into GeoServer. Methods and styles were published after that, by using OpenLayers technology. Mistakes and deficiencies of publishing were recorded.
