Mikroplasty v pitné vodě a možnosti domácí filtrace pomocí vybraných prostředků

Abstract

The presented bachelor thesis deals with the issue of microplastics in drinking water. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on microplastics and their distribution, morphology, composition, their impacts on the environment, as well as on human and animal health. It also describes the possibilities of identification using various analytical methods and the separation of these microparticles. Subsequently, it specifically deals with filtration since this process is used in the environmental part. The practical part includes experiments aimed at determining whether households can remove microplastics from their drinking water using selected means, or what size the filters are able to filter. The work describes the course of individual experiments and there are results, which are also evaluated and summarized.
