Požární bezpečnost ve výškových obytných budovách

Abstract

The thesis focuses on the fire safety of high-rise residential buildings in the Czech Republic. In the first part, individual types of residential high-rise buildings built between the 1960s and 1980s are evaluated based on their fire safety. The second part addresses the issues of these buildings regarding fire safety and their resolution according to the current applicable fire regulations in the field of designing high-rise residential buildings. The concluding section compares the current fire safety regulations for high-rise residential buildings in the Czech Republic with similar legislation in France, Switzerland, and Poland, assessing whether the current Czech regulations are satisfactory. Finally, possible amendments to Czech standards in residential high-rise buildings are proposed in the conclusion of the thesis.
