Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on the issue of work categorization within the Sika CZ manufacturing plant. The main objective is to develop a proposal for work categorization that reflects new operational requirements and conditions. The theoretical part describes the current state of risk factors in the working environment and defines the legislative framework for work categorization. The practical part includes a description of workplaces, work activities, and the identification of risk factors. Based on the results of authorized measurements by an accredited laboratory, expert estimates, and calculations, specific categories were proposed for all job positions, and preventive measures were recommended. This proposal is based on the current state of the plant’s working environment and serves the company management as a comprehensive foundation for meeting legislative requirements and implementing preventive measures.
