Abstract
The main purpose of my baccalaureate work was to design metallic lines simulator for ADSL technology and standard telephone lines, which simulates different lengths and attenuation characteristics in real cables. The first part deal with general theoretical ideas about metallic lines characteristics based on symmetric cables. The second part is about design methods and basic characteristics of the artificial transmission line and the third part analyse and design methodology with simulations, attenuation measurements in real cables and artificial transmission line.
