Turistický potenciál města Uherské Hradiště

Abstract

The essence of tourism is providing various services to its participants. The main aim of this bachelor thesis entitled „Tourist Potential of the Town of Uherské Hradiště“ is to define and analyse the possibilities of tousist potential of the chosen microregion through the phenomenon of tourism as one of the leading development factors in the area and demonstrate that on the model territory. And also to explore the quality and quantity of services, which lead to support or, on the other hand, to attenuation of the tourist potential of this locality. Theoretical and methodological part of the thesis also focuses on the basic conditions for tourism development. General specification of tourism including the terminology in the field of tourism, the typology of tourist movement and the different factors of expansion and dislocation of tourism are integral and very important parts of the thesis. Its fundamental part constists of thorough analysis of certain expectations particular of the tourism in the area of Uherské Hradiště. SWOT analysis of the selected microregion provides comprehensive overview of the strengths, weaknesses, possible opportunities and threats of tourist potential of the town of Uherské Hradiště. The basis of the conclusion is formed by suggestion of tourist potential strategy of Uherské Hradiště including specific preferences and suggested measures as well as the author’s own opinion on the possible and effective utilize of all the tourist potentials of the town of Uherské Hradiště.
