Abstract

My Bachelor thesis is focused on drawing up a list of safety requirements for fairground and amusement park machinery and a method of its assessment. Currently there are used many types of machines in public amusement parks, but their safety is questionable. Despite recent changes in legislation the question of safety assessment is not yet resolved or is dealt with only marginally. In the thesis there is carried out a summary of requirements for fairground and amusement park machinery safety and proposition of protocols which would serve as official documents for amusement park machinery safety inspection. The inspection's result would then reflect real serviceability and safety of given machinery so it could be put into operation, and therefore significantly contribute to increasing the safety of amusement park machinery.
