Abstract
The thesis is devoted to the issue of the age management and its practical use in organizati-on. The topic of the age management is becoming increasingly important in the management of organizations due to the progressive demographic development of the Czech Republic and also in the European Union. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the concept of age mangement, its understanding on the basic of available information and professional publica-tions. The practical part of the thesis describes the general charakteristice of the company. The aim of the research is to find out the extent of application of age management and its methods in a selected company and the subsequent evaluation of its implementation. Two questionnaire surveys focused on selected characteristics of age management were carried out. The resoluts were analyzed and suggestions for improvement and recommendations were presented. Age management at organizational levels should not only be perceived as an isolated issue or part og the organization´ s social policy, but as a way of creating added value for the organization.
