Implementace metody 5S ve vybraném podniku

Abstract

As a thesis topic I chose Implementation of 5S Technique in Selected Company. I chose it because it is currently part of almost every business to be more efficient and maintain competitiveness in the market. The aim of my work is to determine how the 5S method affects the firm, what changes brings the firm, and what business costs will be saved. Then I dealt with how employees looking at the method. In the theoretical part, I focused on the description of lean manufacturing and its basic part – method 5S. Division of 5S method to its individual steps and found the reasons, why it is advantageous to implement into the company. In the practical part I focused on the implementation of 5S technique into the organization, analyzing internal documents, which changes brought into the business, what business costs were saved and analyzing employees' perspective on the issue. The result of this thesis is to suggest changes, which the company could do to increase the efficiency of its production, save costs of uncharted places and how to improve existing working conditions.
