Abstract
This thesis deals with a research of the the winter sports market in
Slovakia and in his surroundings. We were using mainly a researching
method, which is called mystery shopping. This thesis further
describes 8 ski centres in Slovakia. We were observing the services
they offered, the neighbourhood and marketing communication in the ski
resorts
The thesis consists of five units. The first section describes the tourism services offered by ski resorts and a brief description of selected ski resorts. The second section focuses on theoretical foundations. The methodology and procedure for obtaining comprehensive data can be found in the third chapter. The next chapter focuses on an analysis made of the data discussed in the third chapter. The fifth chapter -entitled Proposals and recommendations- is then a follow-up of the fourth chapter.
