Abstract
The thesis deals with methods of probabilistic reliability assessment of building structures, focusing on the durability of reiforced concrete bridge decks exposed to chlorides. The methods described and compared in this thesis are Monte Carlo, Importance sampling, Latin hypercube sampling and Direct optimized probabilistic calculation. Chloride penetration is modeled analytically and numerically. In conclusion, optimal methods are recommended, considering given variants of problem.
