Abstract

This bachelor´s thesis addresses the issue of physical security for a selected critical infrastructure facility, specifically a heating plant. The aim of the thesis is to assess the current state of security measures and propose their optimization in accordance with new legislation, particularly Act No. 266/2025 Coll., on the resilience of critical infrastructure entities. The theoretical section defines basic concepts, the legislative framework, and the pillars of physical security. The practical section focuses on FMEA risk analysis and the evaluation of technical security systems at a specific facility. The result of the thesis is a proposal for comprehensive and innovative measures that increase the heating plant´s resilience to current threats, including an economic evaluation of the proposed changes.
