Abstract

This thesis deals with the restoration of the urban character of Silesian Ostrava in the area between the streets Bohumínská, Ferdinanda Koláře, U Staré elektrárny and Keltičkova. The design concept is based on respect for steep terrains and preservation of existing buildings in the area. It includes administrative, commercial and residential functions.
