Kvalitativní dopady procesu úpravy sladovnického ječmene a možnosti využití zbytkových frakcí

Abstract

The presented dissertation deals with the issue of the process of malting barley processing. It offers information on complex mechanical - physical properties of the assessed input raw material - malting barley and verifies the methods of primary processing - separation on machinery with subsequent qualitative impacts on these malting barley in the Moravia region of the Czech Republic. The use and subsequent assessment of primary processing methods is a key priority, especially in the food industry such as brewing. Due to the inefficient method of the separation process, the resulting quality of the obtained malting barley product may be reflected in its unsatisfactory parameters. The work is divided into several chapters, where after the introductory part deals with the initial treatment of raw barley grain by mechanical separation. Separation separates the component of the highest quality raw material - barley grain and the remaining types of waste. The basic physical parameters of individual barley samples are further determined and the separation process is evaluated. The experimental part of the work focuses on monitoring the variable physical parameters of barley and assessing the separation process. It also deals with the possibility of processing and subsequent use of residual fractions, not only as final waste, for further use, for example in the agricultural industry. The aim of this work is to verify the possibility of using residual impurities - waste after the separation of barley using the method of torification and laboratory measurements to determine the germination of barley grains after separation as a determination of a fundamental quality parameter of the proces and germination of barely grains on soils enriched with fraction after torification in differet proportions. The final part is the determination of the values of total nitrogen, as prerequisite for the evaluation of soil enriched with waste fraction after torification. The evaluation of the obtained data and knowledge is a benefit for practice in the field of not only the agricultural industry.
