Abstract

The basic idea and goal of the thesis is an external view of the functioning of the strategic management of a company operating in the automotive industry, whose main business is pressing, welding and assembly of car body parts. During the analysis of the business environment, it was found that the strategic management of the company is not carried out in a standard way and that there are certain threats that may endanger the company. Therefore, two variants of the strategy for the following period have been proposed. Stability and expansion strategies. Each contains goals that should be achieved to improve the operation of the company. The result is therefore a strategic proposal of how the management of the surveyed company should proceed in order to seize the opportunity and eliminate or reduce the threat of threats. The proposal is entirely based on an objective business analysis and can therefore be applied in the company.
