Abstract

The aim of this work is to study of easily assemble screw connections for hollow sections, which are the design elements especially designed for lightweight structures, such as staircases porches and stone walls. Because outdoor use must consider is coated (galvanized). First connections created study design suitability to the selected screw hole. Then verify the bearing capacity calculation in accordance with applicable standards. Selected proposals are modeled using MKP models in ANSYS. At the conclusion of the study the connections and experimental verification on the tensile resistance.
