Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on the issue of the opening system and the construction of the so-called "Butterfly Door", which will be used in the prototype SC Titan. Such a way of opening the door is non-standard and its construction is complicated, but visually very attractive. This work addresses the possibility of using a door frame, which was created from a supporting structure of 3D printing, which was coated with carbon fiber. The diploma thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part, a 3D model of the frame structure was created, control calculations were solved in the ADAMS program, which were used to verify the design of the door opening system. Furthermore, the individual components of the door are described here, which are based on the design proposal, and control calculations are performed from the created design of the supporting door structure. The practical part of the work describes the process of manufacturing a prototype of the supporting structure of the door, and there is a testing of the functionality of the door.
