Abstract

Diploma paper proposes, considers and chooses an appropriate method of recultivation of sludge bed, so that the selected option is as much as possible in compliance with contemporary trends of land recultivation in areas adversely affected by past mining activities and, at the same time, is concerned with the restoration to the original condition. The first part of energetic products and recultivation methods introduces the reader into the issue of reculivation, then analyses its possible utilization and describes theoretical background. Subsequently, the past and current situation of sludge bed is characterized together with its present usage. Finally, several different solutions of recultivation of sludge bed are considered together with their technical and financial aspects, so that it is possible to compare these alternatives and, consequently, evaluate and propose optimal solution of rearrangement of a given locality.
