Optimalizace výroby pomocí dynamické simulace

Abstract

Author of this diploma thesis chose the topic of manufacturing process optimization in one of the plants of Kofola a.s company. In more detail, manufacturing process was conducted on one of the production lines which was meant to be subject to effectivity improvement. In the theoretical part author dealt with the problematics of dynamic simulation, processes and their improvement. In the practical part author applied the theoretical background in practice. Initially, author focused on analysis of processes in the Lanner Group Ltd.’s software called Witness 14. Firstly, it was necessary to get to know well the whole process and then to correctly identify the sequence of all activities. Based on this observation, process diagram was created, describing the relationships between variables in more detail. These operations were the very base for entry data collection. Then, simulation model was tested in Witness software, mainly in terms of comparison of data with reality. Based on results of these tests, the model was modified to achieve stated goals and objectives – to shorten the total time of production or to make the production volume per time unit more effective. Simulation revealed ineffective activities, such as micro operational errors, lack of knowledge and experience of staff, missing standardization of regular maintenance and facility etc. The final simulation included all suggested changes and ideas for improvement that are expected to yield positive effect and contribute to goal achievement. Final outputs were positively accepted by the organization for more detailed observation and analyses and potential implementation that would result in current process being improved and more effective.
