Vícerychlostní integrace v Evropské unii: současnost a budoucí perspektivy

Abstract

The European Union is one of the most significant and dynamically evolving political and economic blocs in the world. Since its inception, it has undergone numerous changes and challenges that shape its current form and direction. One of the key topics the Union currently faces is the concept of multi-speed integration, allowing member states different levels of involvement in European policies and structures. This thesis focuses on analyzing multi-speed integration in the EU, particularly in the Visegrád Group countries. The aim is to evaluate the approaches of these countries to multi-speed integration and their future development based on theoretical and economic analyses. Methodologically, the thesis relies on a descriptive and analytical approach. The first part deals with the theoretical aspects of multi-speed integration, the second part examines the development and current state of this integration in the EU and the consequences of Brexit. The third part focuses on the analysis of economic factors in the Visegrád countries and their influence on integration attitudes.
