Abstract

This thesis deals with modeling of explosion propagation in 1-D geometry. Thesis is divided into three chapters. First two are theoretical and deal with basic knowledges of explosion and theory of computational fluid dynamics. The third, practical chapter deals with modeling of the specific task – methane explosion in pipeline. The results of modeling are compared with results of experiment.
