Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the Design of Increasing Web Portal Sales. The work is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter describes basic characteristics of the selected web portal. The following chapter is focused on theoretical basics of internet in services. The marketing research was realized and the data was evaluated in the analytic part. Marketing research has shown that the biggest positives of the portal are the price of services, speed and visibility portal and shipping center. On the contrary, the biggest negatives are the lack of appearance and the timer setting and limited opportunities to contact company staff. Consumer behavior analysis showed that respondents in the auction catalog usually wait until the last seconds. Most of them are waiting to the last seconds of the auction Finally, I drew up proposals and recommendations for the management of company on the basics of my questionnaire survey.
