Abstract

The thesis summarizes the known principles of measuring magnetic field parameters of materials or electromagnetic devices and introduces a list of practical use of knowledge of the size (shape) of magnetic induction. A brief description of currently commercially available devices with similar functions brings the uniqueness of such practical realizations included in the main part of the text. Implementation of a selected type of automatic magnetic field mapping device describes the choice of components, their parameters, properties and possible limitations. Further, the thesis contains more detail familiarization with the behavior of the selected sensor for triaxial measurement of the components of the magnetic induction vector. The description of the scanner concept, the method of controlling moving parts and obtaining information about the current position of the scanning part outlines main principles involved. The description of the hardware is followed by articles on the creation of proper software for the control module of the scanner, including the method of communication with the superior system. Software in the superior system enabling parameterization of the scan process and output data range, including its installation and operation are shown in the final part of the thesis.
