Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the pension system in the Czech Republic, which is currently in a major transformation. At the beginning of 2013 should the current pension system, based on a rolling pillar with voluntary pension funds, change to the system of three pillars. Continuous system will be completed with the capital component, which should in future increase the diversification of income of people in retirement. The aim of the thesis is an analysis of the pension system in the Czech Republic to evaluate the parameters of the reform system, recommendations to modify the system leading to greater efficiency and stability and development of decision criteria for choosing the participation in the second pillar of the pension system. The application part deals with the analysis of selected parameters, especially II. pillars of the reformed pension system. The analysis is applied to pension funds set and their fees, entry into the convenience II. pillars and predicting the impact of the funded pillar. The practical part deals with the remaining aspects of the ongoing pension system and basic comparisons with pension systems in other countries. The conclusion aims to clarify the results of the analysis and evaluation of the implementation of pension reform with comments on possible applications of parametric adjustment of the various parts of the system.
