Srovnávací analýza laserů využívaných v oční diagnostice

Abstract

This bachelor´s thesis is concerned with Comparative analysis of lasers used in eye diagnosis. It focuses mainly on glaucoma, one of the most common illnesses in eye diagnosis, because of extensity of this topic. First and introductory part is focusing on detailed anatomy of eye retina, which glaucoma affects the most. Then it is focusing on degenerative illness. At the eye clinic in Faculty hospital of Ostrava the diagnostic lasers GDx VCC from the company of Zeiss and Spectralis OCT from the company of Heidelberg Engineering are used for detection of glaucoma. The measurement of patients was performed on both of this lasers with supervise of head nurse at the eye clinic. The gained data was elaborated and statistically analyzed in the practical part of this work with permission of these patients. The conclusion of this work contains the evaluation of achieved results of statistic analysis and assessment of lasers according to economical, technical and clinical point of view.
