Abstract
The thesis aims to reveal the essential factors behind choosing a specific maternity hospital by pregnant women from the Moravian-Silesian region. The thesis is focused on primary sources of information about the selection of a particular hospital, reasons behing choosing a specific maternity hospital and the distance between the household and the maternity hospital. The research can serve as feedback to maternity hospital managers from the Moravian-Silesian Region.
