Abstract
This diploma thesis is focused on the valuation of a company operating in the field of healthcare technologies. Its aim is to determine the value of the company based on a business analysis and selected valuation methods, and to propose recommendations for its improvement.
The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part characterizes the basic concepts related to business valuation and the analysis of the company’s financial situation through microenvironment analysis, macroenvironment analysis, and financial analysis. Subsequently, the theoretical knowledge is applied in the practical part of the thesis.
In the practical part, strategic analysis, financial analysis, and selected valuation methods were used to analyze the company.
