Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with analysis and control of three-level inverter with transformer coupling. In the first part of the thesis, there are mentioned topologies of multi-level converters and their principle of function. Further there are described a function and principle of H-bridge in series connection with a transformer coupling and modes of control of pulse width modulation (PWM) and vector pulse width modulation (VPWM) for free-level converters. Numeric models are created for these two control modes and for H-bridge in series connection with a transformer coupling. Based on these models, simulations are executed in Matlab – Simulink. Detailed solution of structural design is processed on the basis of the model. Final design is 3D model created in program Solidworks.
