Abstract

This thesis deals with the most common wastes that pathological waste pickers collect, splitting these wastes and the impact on health of collectors who move in this environment and waste collected in their homes. The thesis describes the problems of acute and chronic conditions that may harm the health or life-threatening chronic waste pickers. It includes disease classification of diseases according to medical diagnosis, description of the disease and possible treatment method. It is described how the disease can be prevented and how it would be possible to prevent the abuse of wastes that have been sorted and stored.
