Abstract

This thesis deals with the use of the dump pit heaps left Hamr I for the construction of an earth dam of a pond. The introduction presents brief characteristics exploited bearing Hamr, its historical development and present. Work continues simplified description of the geological, hydrogeological and tectonic conditions of the bearing area. The main work is to verify the nature of the soil heaps left from the dump pit, their size distribution and suitability of use in an earth dam of a pond. In addition to assessing the shape and stability of newly built dams, depending on the materials used, including natural subsidence predictions body. The conclusion summarizes the findings in the thesis, especially in terms of suitability of soils in the dam body and granularity.
