Abstract
The use of foundations elements which are in contact with ground, for collecting of the geothermal energy, is a well known method. Recently, several technologies for extraction or injection of heat from/into ground via tunnel lining were designed. This thesis describes the basic principles, which are necessary for geothermal heat exchanger design. It presents an overview of application primary circuit heat exchanger to the construction elements of tunnel lining, such as segmental lining, sprayed concrete, anchor system, diaphragm and pile walls. The thesis also includes the list of four tunnels construction, where the absorber pipe system was successfully installed.
