Abstract
The undermining effect, solving conflicts of interests, the prediction of impact on the surface and surface objels, consequences of mining activity, regular measurement of leveling to monitor the size of these movements, all these are very sensitive areas, which are in accordance with the Act on mining and are a surveyor´s job. The result of these observations is a body of knowledge that is essential for the most accurate forecast of influencing the surface, which reflects positively in resolving conflicts of interest that are kept for the processing of a mining permit. Long-term experience and the results of measurements performed in the Karvina part of the district, allow to predict very accurately the size, shape and parameters of the subsidence trough, which is associated with the use of longwall mining method for controlled caving, which has been currently used in OKD. The introduction of new mining methods is logically connected with the research of the effects of this method of mining activities on the surface and it is obvious that due to the fact that I can work in a team to test the operation of this new mining method room and pillar this research is precisely the subject of my thesis.
Although in protective pillars pits and surface facilities at the site Sever there was no mining activity until the start of trial operation of mining method Room and Pillar before except sinking of pits and excavation of early development crosscuts and galleries of the floors is verified by measuring the surface within the protected area causes subsidence of protected objects and surfaces. Filling my thesis is precisely focused on geodetic observations of the survey line, which are placed on the surface so that they can, as closely as possible to capture the effects of mining by the room and pillar method in the 30th seam The trial run started in the mining area North Plant 2 in May 2014. Now measurement results obtained on all survey stations in the last two years show the way to subsequent measurements in following years to be able to explain the disproportion between the predicted and actual measured values of affected surface.
This contradiction will have to be explained to the State Mining Authority, to representatives of concerned organizations and professionals, because the results of my measurements show just this disproportion. It lies in the fact that since the commencement of room and pillar excavation in the protective shaft pillar to its end and cessation of the impact of mining on surface occurs at the monitored area up to tens of centimeters. The mismatch between the values predicted interference in expert´s opinion, drawn up by Prof. Ing. Ivo Černý, PhD. and actually measured movements, will be covered in future research, which will allow the operator mining methods, OKD Inc., to launch the legislative procedure of approval of this mining method as a method with minimal effects on the surface
