Územní studie areálu bývalého závodu OPAVLEN Opava, a.s.

Abstract

In my thesis I dealt suggesting a possible new use of the former textile factory complex OPAVLEN Opava, a.s. area, which is located on the outskirts of the city of Opava. This thesis describes the design of a new functional use, with spatial solution with respect to the surrounding area function. The solution was processed and alternatively for a more detailed analysis of the evaluation of practical functionality and usability of the selected option B - Draft university campus with sports and its facilities and public space, including volumetric studies of the selected object. The new proposed use complements and builds on the existing capabilities in the area, deepening cultural and academic importance of the town of Opava, supports education, fulfilling the ever growing demands for recreation, creating space for the collection, transportation and trade, including the offer of new jobs, leads to the development of civilization values territory, urban problems in terms of population and ultimately has a positive impact on the environment.
