Abstract

Master's thesis concerns the design of AC power management - AC induction motor under laboratory conditions. Control will implement the PLC system through the frequency inverter. The paper is discussed a brief history of the development of electric drives and their control, is described principle of operation of induction motor and frequency con-verter. Another part deals with distributed architecture of industrial systems and net-works within it. The practical part consists of the design control itself and describes the necessary steps for preparing the programming environment and settings of individual com-ponents. The proposal includes control a touch screen and a remote workstation.
