Estrogeny v životním prostředí

Abstract

The question of estrogens in the enviroment is being search processed in the Bachelor´s paper. The estrogen presence as well as some significant estrogen sources occuring in the enviroment are described here. This primarily involves the most important estrogen representatives such as phytoestrogens, mycoestrogens, xenoestrogens among which also pesticides, bisphenol A and polychlorinated biphenyls with small number of chlorine atoms in a molecule belong. Furthermore, the paper describes the impact of estrogens on humans and fauna and their biological activity. The paper also deals with the question of estrogen presence in surface waters and wastewaters in the Czech Republic. The attention is also turned to the possibilities of their elimination from the aquatic enviroment as well as to the methods of establishing substances with estrogen activitiies.
