Abstract

This diploma thesis utilizes available information about approaches to the Design of Experiment (DOE). Experiments usually take place under production or pre-production conditions. Their realisation can endanger the process or have a very high cost. A comparative study of approaches was made. Comparison took place in general and in the real process of producing photocatalytic material - graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) was carried out. Photocatalysis is a phenomenon applicable to the elimination of emissions, inorganic substances, bacteria and viruses. The theoretical background of Designed Experiment is presented. The procedure of simple application of the compared DOE approach (classical and Taguchi approach) is explained. This diploma thesis was funded by SGS project SP2018/97.
